ETH president Joël Mesot:
“Responsibility, openness, diversity, team spirit, excellence: these are the key values defined in the Strategy and Development Plan 2021–2024, which we want to open up for broad discussion this year, as we build a stronger cultural basis for our successful and inspirational collaborations.
One starting point for discussion, for example, could be the results of the recent survey “Taking our pulse” on ETH values. A working group within the rETHink project has put together some ideas and support materials to aid discussion. You also have access to a group of people who volunteer to act as moderators for discussions on values and culture. Please refer to the rETHink website for more information.”
As another form of cultural discussion, we invite you to participate in a sketching competition: the challenge is to sketch the 5 values for example as people, as done in the featured image.
